Welcome to Flowcept. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Flowcept ("we", "us", or "our"). They govern your use of the Flowcept web application at flowcept.in and all related services. By creating an account or using Flowcept, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. What Flowcept Is

Flowcept is a web-based project management tool that lets individuals and teams create projects, organise tasks on boards, collaborate with team members, and track progress. We offer a free tier and a paid Pro plan with additional features such as roadmap automation and extra project slots.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Flowcept. By using the service you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are using Flowcept on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

3. Your Account

You can register with an email and password, or sign in through Google or GitHub. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, contact us immediately.

Provide accurate and up-to-date information during registration.
Do not share your account credentials with anyone else.
You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits.

4. Your Content & Data

"Your Content" means the projects, tasks, comments, files, and any other information you create or upload to Flowcept. You own your content. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over it. We only access, store, and process your content as necessary to provide and improve the service.

You grant us a limited licence to host, display, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of operating Flowcept. This licence ends when you delete your content or your account.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Flowcept to:

Violate any applicable law or regulation.
Upload malicious code, spam, or content that infringes on the rights of others.
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts, our servers, or any connected systems.
Interfere with the service's performance or availability (e.g., denial-of-service attacks, scraping at scale).
Use automated tools to access the service in a way that exceeds reasonable use.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without prior notice depending on severity.

6. Free Plan & Pro Subscription

Flowcept offers a free tier with a limited number of projects. The Pro plan unlocks additional features and higher limits. You can also purchase extra project slots individually.

Billing: Pro subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis. Prices are displayed at the time of purchase and may be updated with 30 days' notice.
Cancellation: You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time from your account settings. Your Pro features will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
Refunds: We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. Purchased project slots are non-refundable.

7. Third-Party Integrations

Flowcept integrates with third-party services such as Google Calendar and Jira. When you connect a third-party service, you authorise us to access data from that service as needed to provide the integration. These integrations are governed by the respective service's own terms and privacy policies, and you should review those before connecting.

8. Intellectual Property

The Flowcept name, logo, visual design, and underlying source code are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our branding or code beyond what is necessary to use the service as intended.

9. Availability & Changes

We strive to keep Flowcept available and reliable, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, push updates, or modify features at any time. For significant changes that affect how you use the service, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you in advance.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, your personal data and content will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms or engage in activity that harms other users or the integrity of the platform.

11. Limitation of Liability

Flowcept is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption.

Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or ₹5,000, whichever is greater.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Flowcept will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" at the top of this page. Continued use of Flowcept after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
